HAK Creations, Handcrafted Jewelry by Helen Kopec
Nature inspires creativity with her ever changing hues. The coloration, the shape, the feel of beads dictate what the jewelry artist must do with them. Beads, cabochons, and wires guide you to the final product.
My jewelry is as varied as my moods or whims on the day that I have created the piece. I have taken classes in beading and weaving, am self-taught in wire wrapping and wire working and am always experimenting with new techniques and materials.
HAK jewelry is created from semi-precious stones, natural beads, seeds, polymer clay, glass and crystal beads. Sterling silver, gold fill, copper, brass and bronze wire are used in my ventures which range from pendants, necklaces, metal collars, earrings, bracelets, rings, anklets, and pins to window ornaments, key rings, bookmarkers. My jewelry reflects simple beauty, grace and whimsy.
My jewelry has been displayed in several boutiques and galleries in Clarks Summit, Luzerne, Pocono Pines and Tannersville. I have participated in juried events throughout Luzerne, Monroe and Wayne counties, have conducted workshops in wire working, and have been commissioned for special designs.
I am a member of the Pocono Mountain Arts Council and the Wyoming Valley Art League. Both have taught me new skills and given me a greater appreciation for the arts.
