Synopsis:
Learn the history of the Iroquois Confederacy through wampum belts! Guided by their teacher, Tehanetorens, students of the Indian Way School at Akwesasne Mowhawk Nation present authentic, bead-for-bead replicas of sacred Iroquois wampum belts and strings, along with the meanings of each piece and how they fit into the history of the Iroquois People. Photographs of each belt included.
